Unfortunately, there is a lot of bad information circulating, concerning the remedies and programs and this has led to even more confusion by taxpayers as what to do when they find themselves in a tax situation.

Many times a taxpayer that fails to file a tax return finds that, before they know it, they can be several years behind and become too afraid to file as to what might happen. This exposes them, not only to financial hardship, but also possible criminal charges for failure to file. Others, just live in denial and wait to be caught before addressing the issue. This only compounds the problem. The IRS has stepped up its collection and examination campaign and received a large budget increase to assist them to this means. The onslaught of television ads, concerning this, is no accident. It is estimated that 15% of all taxpayers are either in tax debt or are non filers. I had a client return home to find IRS documents taped to his garage door for all of his neighbors to see. They will, if ignored, find you and it won't be a pleasant experience.

TV ads are NOT the answer. Their huge advertising budgets translates into huge fees to the people who can least afford it. The laws and programs concerning tax resolution are available to each taxpayer equally. Their is no secret "negotiations" as the ads lead you to believe. I had a very complex tax situation with multiple unique issues. Stan was able to quickly calm me, put me at ease, and gave me the confidence that everything would be taken care of and sure enough, it was! His willingness to work with the IRS directly on my behalf and expertise with them was invaluable.
I found Stan to be very helpful, kind, knowledgeable, and flexible. His rates were a bargain when compared with every other tax accountant that I contacted, but I don’t feel the lower price reflects the quality of the work. The work was done was exceptional.
Stan is in Lakewood and quite a drive from Redmond but worth the effort and can handle most everything by fax, phone, and through email as I often did through the preparation.
